We are looking for Pivot Technician/Sales Specialist to join the Reinke Division of Plains Equipment Group.  In this position you will sell new Reinke center pivot irrigation systems to new and existing customers and perform basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on center pivot irrigation systems. 
 
Responsibilities include:
 
Pivot Sales Specialist:

• Sell center pivot irrigation systems to customers in defined sales area
• Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of pivots
• Collect and maintain customer information in assigned territory
• Conduct new pivot field demonstrations
• Monitor customer business activities and competitive business activity/products
• Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new pivot
• Follow defined sales processes

 
Pivot Technician:

• Install, maintain, and repair center pivot irrigation systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems with pivot functionality
• Provide customers with excellent customer service
• Participate in training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
• Maintain current knowledge of Reinke and competitive products
• Maintain condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment
• Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
• Track time spent on all projects and material used in performing the service

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience performing service on center pivot irrigation systems
• Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in the installation and repair of Reinke irrigation equipment
• Ability to use standard desktop load application such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
• Oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
• Valid driver’s license
• The minimum of an Associate’s Degree is preferred
