Description
We are looking for an Irrigation Manager/Sales Representative to join the Reinke Division of Plains Equipment Group in North Platte.  In this position you will manage the irrigation service operations for the location.  You will be responsible for labor sales, staffing, budgets, and the overall financial performance of the Irrigation Department, and for the sale of new Reinke center pivot irrigation systems to new and existing customers.

Responsibilities include:

Irrigation Manager:
• Communicate, enforce, and monitor effective Irrigation Department processes and standards to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction as well as department efficiency
• Responsible for Irrigation Department goals and budget
• Facilitate a Customer Satisfaction Program to enhance and maintain customer relationships
• Hire, train and develop technicians 
• Schedule and assign jobs and work areas to employees in the Irrigation Department according to their skills and knowledge
• Grow Irrigation Department
• Execute Irrigation Department marketing plan; monitor monthly to ensure departmental goals are met
• Review work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing
• Ensure all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
• Ensure all service warranty and Product Improvement Program claims are submitted within the required timeframe to receive maximum credit
• Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments and sales
• Ensure all safety rules and regulations and company policies are followed by employees
• Participate in training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
• Maintain current knowledge of Reinke and competitive products
• Install, maintain, and repair center pivot irrigation systems as needed to support the department
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems with pivot functionality as needed to support the department

Irrigation Sales Representative:
• Sell center pivot irrigation systems to customers in defined sales area
• Collect and maintain customer information in assigned territory
• Conduct new pivot field demonstrations
• Monitor customer business activities and competitive business activity/products
• Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new pivot
• Follow defined sales processes

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience with Reinke and competitive products
• Ability to professionally lead and motivate others; prior management experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer relationships skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Internet Functions
• Associates degree or equivalent experience required
