At Plains Equipment Group we are differentiating ourselves through our people, our partnerships, and our performance.  We are looking for an In House Sales Representative to join our team in Seward. 
In this position you will take care of all internet and local in store phone sales including Ag/Turf products. Ensure customer satisfaction, and location sales performance metrics are achieved.
Responsibilities include:

• Day to Day Retail Sales of Ag and Turf products utilizing JD Quote, Customer Trax and Workflow
• Work with local and regional functional manager to ensure the Sales and Training goals and objectives are met
• Monitor customer satisfaction levels and identify ways to achieve greater satisfaction and loyalty
• Work with Territory manager to resolve customer complaints and issues
• Responsible for customer prospecting
• Responsible for day to day in store sales and displays
• Work with marketing to coordinate area marketing events
• Work with location leaders to maintain a clean, organized, and customer friendly display
• Bring competitive pricing issues to the attention of Territory Sales Managers
• Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment
• Collect and maintain customer information as new contacts are made while building a Client list
• Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
• Attend sales training events/seminars
• Follow defined sales processes
• Maintain assigned company vehicles and equipment

 
Requirements:

• Experience with John Deere and competitive products
• Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred
• Ability to Sell and deliver a variety of John Deere and short line products.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong written communication skills
• Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred
