Plains Equipment Group is leading the way in the delivery of technology solutions to our customers. We are looking for an AMS/ISG Consultant that has their Certified Crop Advisor license to join us at our North Platte location to provide consulting services and expertise to support the sale and support of John Deere technology driven products and applications.

In this position you will:
 

• Manage and coordinate the execution of our John Deere FarmSight strategy (Machine Optimization, Logistics Optimization, and Ag Decision Support)
• Offer technical support to customers  and to our customer technical support center
• Oversee and manage local John Deere FarmSight solution rollouts to sales, service, and parts
• Deliver employee and customer training for John Deere FarmSight  solutions and advanced precision farming products
• Provide business consulting services to customers
• Support the adoption of new technology and product offerings
• Maintain RFID inventory logistics for assigned location
• Facilitate the Home Agency partnership within the organization
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert at the location assigned for John Deere precision farming products

 
Position requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, or Agriculture Mechanization or equivalent experience
• Certified Crop Advisor license
• 3+ years of experience in an agriculture-related role
• AMS product knowledge preferred
• Solutions oriented
• Proficient knowledge of database software and computer application systems
• Ability to travel to training facilities at other locations and in other states
• Insurable driving record
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel to store locations and customers
• Dealership sales, service, training, or other related work experience preferred
• Excellent time management skills required
• Demonstrate solid organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
