We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our team in Lincoln, NE. In this position you will be responsible for providing timely, relevant and accurate information relating to pricing, contracts, and qualified John Deere programs to support the sales and operations of the Company. This includes working with sales staff on individual quotes, and multi-unit deals. Will develop processes and tools to provide information and recommendations to improve the sales process, increase margins and improve the competitiveness of Plains Equipment Group.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze potential deals in conjunction with the sales team
• Work with VP Sales & Marketing and District Managers to develop Key Account strategies and tracking tools
• Support sales team with information and recommendations on pricing
• Track and monitor John Deere pricing components and programs for the organization
• Assist in the continued development of forecasting and sales modeling tools
• Analyze pricing and gross margin results and identify key trends and issues to be addressed
• Quantify and explain actual results vs budgets and forecasts
• Design and help implement relevant reports to assure ongoing management visibility to gross margin
• Review and understand competitive pricing outside of Company operations
• Analyze market share and performance programs
• Analyze new and used inventory by product segment and models
• Participate on the program development team
• Update Plains Equipment Group Dashboard report

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from accredited institution
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Agricultural industry experience a plus
• Experience working in a high energy, customer focused environment
• Experience with querying tools and analytics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with financial modeling and analytics
• Ability to read, understand, analyze and interpret pricing information
• Strong attention to detail
• Takes accountability and responsibility for assigned tasks and duties
• Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
