Description

Plains Equipment Group is looking for a college undergraduate who is interested in learning more about all aspects of John Deere Dealership including sales, service, parts and ISG. This position will have a heavy focus on sales. In addition to a diverse experience you will be responsible for a project that will be presented to the leadership team. Internship will be summer 2018 at our store in Crete or Seward.

In this position you will:

Gain product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment
Gain experience with and knowledge of customer’s needs
Gain knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
Assist sales representatives with paperwork and other aspects of defined sales processes
Assist sales representatives with delivery of equipment
Assist with inventory processes
Assist with new equipment field demonstrations
Monitor customer business activities and competitive business activity / products

Skills & Qualifications:

Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices
Ability to work flexible hours
Excellent customer relationship skills
Undergraduate Student or BS/BA in Agriculture related field
