At Plains Equipment Group, we recognize that the key to our success is maintaining a strong service department.  The Service Administrator is integral to the success of the department, maintaining accurate and on-time records and reports relative to the service department’s operation.
 
In this position you will:
 
  • Field and direct internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department
  • Open work orders and track them through to closure and invoicing
  • Maintain the service library with current information
  • Maintain Service Department files and records
  • Update customer profiles with equipment, repair information, and hours from the customer work orders
  • Maintain accessories and supplies and prepare replenishment orders
  • May prepare Service Technician efficiency reports
  • Assist customers with billing questions and invoice inquiries
 
Requirements:
 
 
  • Basic knowledge of accounting practices
  • Ability to work in a fast paced multi-faceted environment
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office
  • General knowledge of mechanical terms is preferred
  • High School Diploma; Associate Degree preferred
