We are looking for a candidate that can manage the service and parts operations within the Oberlin Kansas store location. This Manager must maximize return on investment, provide superior quality service, implement efficient and effective processes, and increase aftermarket sales. Assume overall responsibility for parts and labor sales and aftermarket department budgets and staffing.
Responsibilities

Responsible for parts and service departments goals and budgets

Grow parts and service sales and increase overall aftermarket demand

Hire, train and develop employees for the parts and service departments
-
Execute marketing plans for parts and service; monitor to ensure achievement of goals

Communicate, enforce, and monitor processes to ensure department efficiency and customer satisfaction
-
Schedule and assign jobs to employees in the Service Department according to their skills and knowledge
-
Review work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing
-
Ensure all parts and service warranty, return, and Product Improvement Program claims are submitted within the required timeframe to receive maximum credit.

Facilitate a Customer Satisfaction Program to enhance and maintain customer relationships

Ensure all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order

5+ years of experience with John Deere or competitive products preferred

Ability to professionally lead and motivate others; prior management experience leading a parts or service department preferred

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong written communication skills

Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports

Experience with Microsoft Office and Internet Functions

The minimum of an Associate’s Degree preferred
