Description
Plains Equipment Group is looking for college undergraduates who are interested in learning more about all aspects of John Deere Dealership including sales and marketing. In this position you will gain experience with new and used agriculture and turf equipment sales through exposure to our sales process and through managing one or more sales and/or marketing special projects. This internship will be summer of 2020.
In this position you will:

Gain product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment

Gain experience with and knowledge of all customer facing and back office sales processes

Gain experience working with Salesforce CRM

Gain an understanding of current marketing strategies and tactics

Gain an understanding of inventory management
-
May assist with new equipment field demonstrations and customer training & sales events

Will complete one or more sales and/or marketing special projects

Skills & Qualifications:
-
Knowledge of agriculture or turf equipment preferred

Previous exposure to farming operations and practices preferred

Excellent customer relationship skills

Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in process
