Description

At Plains Equipment Group we are differentiating ourselves through our people, our partnerships, and our performance. We are looking for a Marketing Manager in our Lincoln office. In this position you will responsible for developing and executing marketing, advertising and promotional tactics to support the annual marketing strategies for all departments within Plains Equipment Group.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual marketing plans and budgets in alignment with company and department goals

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns, advertising initiatives, and promotional materials to strengthen the company’s market presence

  • Develop and execute the company’s digital strategy including the company’s website, social media, online and mobile marketing campaigns, etc. ; Stay current with digital technology developments

  • Coordinate lead generation from JDCLG, EDA, JDAIM, Target Lists, and all other web and social media tools with the Sales Director and Inside Sales Team

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new products or services

  • Develop and execute digital and print media strategies and tactics for used equipment

  • Manage customer events from planning phase to execution: Coordinate event committees and assignments, develop promotional material and advertising, analyze effectiveness

  • Analyze customer demographics, current market conditions and competitor information to develop targeted and effective marketing campaigns

  • Coordinate all marketing projects from start to finish ensuring that all deadlines are met

  • Collaborate and communicate with management to effectively launch all marketing efforts and initiatives

  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns to generate traffic, leads, and sales

  • Identify weaknesses in existing marketing campaigns, develop effective solutions, and ensure measures are in place to evaluate the impact of campaigns and programs

  • Manage the annual marketing budget inclusive of John Deere co-op advertising funds; coordinate pre-approval and claims processes to obtain and utilize the available co-op funds

  • Maintain and strengthen the Plains Equipment Group brand name and market position, ensuring consistent and professional brand identify in all marketing collateral

  • Coordinate Plains Equipment branded clothing and promotional items, managing the selection, pricing agreements, and employee allowances

  • Manage online supply ordering process for items such as decals, signs, business cards, promo items, etc.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing or related field

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, communications or related field

  • Experience developing print and digital marketing campaigns required

  • Experience with web analytics required

  • Experience in the Ag Industry preferred

  • Strong analytical and creative thinking skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills

  • Strong planning and project management skills
