We are looking for Service Technicians/ Ag Mechanic to join our expanding team of John Deere Certified Technicians through a new Technician Accelerated Development Program.

This program is for a newly hired technician that attended non-JD Tech technical college program or a non –John Deere mid-career hire. This program will provide the technician foundational John Deere technical training in an accelerated format.

• The Technician Accelerated Development Program provides the convenience of schedule and a condensed timeframe

• Blend of web-based and instructor-led training

• Ability to maximize the technicians time at the dealership

• Instructor-led courses are offered in a block format at the training center, allowing the technician to attend 6 ILT courses in 9 business days.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as a mechanic performing service repairs

• Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment

• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment

• Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions

• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes

• Proficient oral and written communication skills

• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly

• Basic Service Technician certification preferred

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred

• Valid driver’s license is required

• Fork lift license preferred
